Walking Mindfully in Sensory Awareness

On meeting, we’ll gather to sit quietly together for a short time in meditation, before entering the woodlands. Walking slowly we’ll attune to the sounds, sights and textures of our surroundings, noticing individually what calls our attention.

Come and Meditate by the Beach – Donation Only. We will be meditating on awareness, with 2 meditations and a short dialogue/talk on awareness and why we need to drop ‘meditation’ and focus on awareness.

An introduction to a weekly program that will delve into the healing power of nature. Mindfulness Based Ecotherapy (MBE) invites nature to facilitate mindful awareness, one of the first skills in the program. MBE is intended as a framework for assisting individuals and families to find deeper connections in their own lives, and to give more meaning and enjoyment to the activities of daily living.

Ease the transition from busy daytime to bedtime with meditation, stretches, massage and visualisations for your kids. Learn how to relax and de stress your children so they go to bed happily and sleep soundly.

Shinrin-Yoku/Forest Bathing – Samres Manor

Forest bathing has roots in Shinrin-yoku, a practice in Japan that translates to “taking in the forest atmosphere.” Forest bathing is not your average walk through the woods. It’s an extremely mindful walk at an extremely slow pace, led by a guide who helps to elevate the sensory immersion, much the same way a yoga or meditation teacher might facilitate those respective practices.
